WELCOME TO THE HOT TAKES SECTION
Controversy Imminent
- i will vent and rant about...
just about anything.- they're all short and sweet so if you're willing to have a quick read go ahead
- anyway i hate everything and here's why
Proper sentence formatting scares the shit out of me! ...AAAHH
this is more a nitpicky thing, if anything i don't really care that much about it
[ THIS IS NOT SERIOUS 😠], but- I love patterns. I find it easy to follow patterns. When I meet someone new, I will immediately attempt to adapt with the person I'm to associate with as a means of not wanting to look like a loser. Whatever opinions they have about a certain media, I will not bring up ever again. Do they hate specific jokes? Never sending them. If we're buddies, I will enjoy guessing their reaction. How they type and what their messages look like? Well...There's one thing I might get thrown off by, and it's one changing how they normally type after a good while of knowing someone. Yes, it sounds unrelated, and that I've shifted the focus to myself thinking about the other person, but this is still pattern-related. Please hear me out on this one.
- I mean, I can understand changing your thing on writing e-mails, essays, locked-in roleplays, actual storylines or books, online posts, documents, vents, rants, etc., but DAMN, when I see a capital letter and a period on multiple messages after a specific date and it's NOT a roleplay, nor an e-mail, nor an essay, nor ok well you get it, I'm GOING to wonder. "dude... you good? which english teacher did this to you brother 😰😰" "DID YOU GET HACKED HOLY SHIT?? FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
- Even if you ARE okay, DAMN!! I'm STILL gonna ask "bro why you so FREAKY all a sudden?? 😨😰😰". This is some uncharted territory! Did your balls drop? Bro became SERIOUS!! Dude put on a tie and went to sell insurance at the local trade center!! Damn!!
- I can understand if you're typing for a job, or if you're like a teacher or something and you're all casual on the Internet, but if you've BEEN casual on the Internet, and suddenly you pull off the Bestselling Novel-ass writing "casually on the Internet", DAMN!!
- It gets even worse since I'm most of the time lame with tone in text. I can't say much because (even though I am neurodivergent) I HATE using tone indicators, even though they're a good thing; though the seriousness of a properly formatted sentence makes me think "oh shit. they're serious. did i do something bad 😓" and I can't trust a SINGLE sentence with such a layout, I might NEED that "/j" more often...
- This whole thing does not apply to people I've met that have been typing properly since I first saw them. Again, it's because I've already "adapted" to their serious typing. Internally, they've already introduced themselves as Mr. Serious. I KNOW they're the serious typer guy. But when I see Mr. "wsg chat hehe how r u LOSERS" go "What's good, chat. How are you losers?" I WILL LOSE MY MARBLES!!even if this is more a silly thing, and it is rather silly, it's still gonna throw me off. you can't just hit me with a 90 degree angle in character behaviorðŸ˜tl;dr the way you type makes it look like you look like you've lost ALL your whimsy. please come back to sillytown
this one i actually apologize for if we know each other and you feel targetted by this. i understand your reasons for the changes but i will still have the opinion above ðŸ˜
dawg all i did was ask why you added a red bandana to a ponytown pony your ass had an attitude for thinking i had that inflection
- I have always thought that some design choices originate from any particular media or experience. It's like, if you add a cape on someone, there's a chance that you just like classic superheroes or something, or maybe you saw a guy with a cape, and thought it would be nice to take something from that. You make a character a robot? You were probably inspired by robots in media, like Quote from Cave Story, or Mega Man from... Mega Man. Add a hat on someone that puts a shadow on their face? The possible origin is mysterious characters in media. A red bandana? Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, I don't fuckin' know... Woody from Toy Story, or Papyrus Undertale?
- Sure, you could say it's their "style". what they wear in canon but like, again, some of these stylistic choices could have origins... Why would they wear such article? What happened in the story that made them wear this specific green shirt with red stripes?
- I know it doesn't have to be deep, I'm just saying that there's just something a design choice comes from, even something as miniscule as "i made my character have a green shirt with red stripes because i wear a green shirt with red stripes" suffices. Though it may just be to look cool, a second reason (or more) is still possible regardless,
"it was available in the clothing selection" "green makes it more flashy" "it popped up in the clothing generator"
- I'm ranting about this with fanon designs of characters in other fandoms in mind; I've seen my fair share of people adding nail polish to a detective, or the tried-and-true "add hair to a bald robloxian".
- I'd ask why a specific design choice was made, but I will not take "it just looked cool", or "it just looked nice" as a valid answer. That's not being creative. If anything, you just put some random ass article of clothing that doesn't add anything to a character.this is a very specific rant, but, this was made with at least four dipidiots in mind. you know who you are. you know why this is here.
"it doesn't hurt anyone" well i wasn't hurting anyone by ASKING WHY they added that red bandana you DICK. stupid mfs named after planetsyou fools will NOT live a single second in the character design classes
why my bio said "nsÆ’w accounts are not allowed here lol i just think they're dumb" that one time on twitter
- Look, I get it. "Minors DNI" or "Minors will be blocked" on NSFW accounts because they don't want underaged people to look at their illustrations of stylized pornography.
But I don't understand why others don't understand "NSFW DNI" and the cockups.
If anything, I think they're saving themselves from the gross ass stylized porn the NSFW accounts create. also why would you just be doing that shit willy-nilly you dickheads
"ooh i need money" 🤓 dude get a better job lmao "i just like to draw this sort of stuff" 🤓 shut the fuck up we don't like it "if you don't like it just leave/block me" ok literally dieFor me, it's more of a spite thing, uhh... because "haha lmao what if i got to them first and blocked them first fuckin losers" and stuff like that.
